Welcome to the season of soccer!

The club would like to encourage all players to utilise ONLINE REGISTRATION for the season.  Online registrations open from 1st February through the following link:  PlayFootball.com.au

The NSW Government’s Active Kids Program continues again this year, which gives parents/guardians of all eligible school enrolled children 4.5 to 18 years old, residing in NSW, the opportunity to apply for a voucher (up to $50) that can be used to reduce (or eliminate) the cost of their child’s playing registration.  Apply for an Active Kids voucher here.

Vouchers will need to be entered in the PlayFootball website when registering online.

As always we are looking for volunteers to help Coach and Manage our Junior players.  If you can help our club in any way please let our Junior Registrar Lisa know via her contact details above.

**All Registration fees are required to be paid before playing any games.   Registration Fees for are as follows:

DIVISION  YEARLY FEE
5, 6, 7  years    $ 100.00
8, 9, 10, 11  years    $ 130.00
12, 13, 14, 15, 16  years    $ 170.00
17, 18 years    $ 240.00

 

As from January 2018, Football NSW has made a change to the Working With Children Check (WWCC) policy by adding additional requirements as follows:

“For the 2018 season and beyond, the following participants are required to obtain a WWCC and provide their WWCC Number to their club, association, branch, centre or referee branch:

Ballina Soccer Club will comply with the advised changes to WWCC policy as directed by Football NSW to include the above amendments of who is required to have a working with children check.

IF YOU ARE COACHING, TEAM MANAGER, COMMITTEE MEMBER OR WILL REGULARLY VOLUNTEER ON WEEKENDS such as in the canteen etc IN , you need to start the process of getting a Working With Children Check. If you only need the WWCC for soccer purposes, then there is no cost ($0 – it’s free) to have this check undertaken.
